Celtic Goddess Brigid Pendant

This is a unique St. Brigid pendant made of lead-free and nickel-free pewter.

It has a hidden bail in back.

The pendant measures 1 1/4 inch long.

It comes with a 30" black cord, though it can also be worn on a chain.

Brigid is the Daughter of the Dagda, one of the more universal deities of the pagan Gaelic world. She is known as the Goddess of Healers, Poets, Smiths, Childbirth and Inspiration, Goddess of Fire and Hearth, Goddess of all inspiration and creativity.

She is a commonly celebrated Wiccan Goddess. Maiden Goddess, Goddess of springtime and new growth, Her festival is held on Feb 2, a Cross-Quarter Sabbat which is named after her (and alternatively called Imbolc).

As a Celtic Goddess of flame, Brigid is a Sun Goddess, Goddess of the Dawn. (To the Celts, the Sun was feminine and Light was masculine.) She is also the Goddess of the Well and Waters.
