There is sewn in boning in this bodice along the front and sides.  I can't find any wear, splits or holes anywhere on this - only wear on the velvet buttons and a little on the cuffs and very minor discoloration of the fabric in spots - overall I'd say this is in remarkable condition for its age!  This would be perfect for a gothic modeling shoot or to add to your Victorian collection.

The sizing is such that it could fit a modern-size woman.  You should have a 31-32" bust and 21-22" waist to wear this.
