This is a beautiful Vintage dress from the 1960's. This style dress is commonly referred to as a "hostess dress". The top portion of the dress is black, then from the empire waist down it is a beautiful hot pink, purple, yellow, green, blue print of paisley and flowers. The sleeves also have this print half way down. The dress zips up the back. The sleeves are full with an elastic at the cuff. Full length, to the floor! Just stunning!

I purchased this dress from an estate sale in Providence, Rhode Island. The house was up for sale and it was a "house lost in time". NOTHING had changed in the house since the 1960's. The woman even had rotary telephones, still in use. This dress came out of the closet in the master bedroom, where it hung since the 1960's. The bedroom had velvet flocked wallpaper, 1960's curtains, bedspread - all untouched all these years. The woman's husband died many years ago and she closed the door to the bedroom and never moved a thing. It was really something to see! I would love for this dress to go to a good home, with the story to go with it.
