1950's Mandel's Skyscrapers Fetish High Heels

This is a rare pair of Mandel's Skyscraper heels from the 1950's.
The skyscraper line was put out by shoe designer Mandel's at a time when a high heel was on average 3 1/2 inches in height and it was rare to see any heel height over 4 inches.
Well, Mandel's dared to put out this scandalous heel at that time, and this particular design and maker is an example worn by many of the Fetish models you see in Bizarre and Exotique magazine, etc. and on John Willie and Irving Klaw models. (that is - when they weren't teetering around in the 6 inch custom heels!)
I should also note that Mandel's made a very high quality shoe compared to some other brands of the time.

This shoe is made of a shiny black genuine leather.
The shoes are a rounded "baby doll" toe.
They have real leather soles and real leather inside lining and insole.
They have a handwritten size that has faded, but these came from an estate with three other pairs and all were between size 8 1/2 and 9.
I can't confirm the size, but the measurements place these at about a size 8 1/2.
***I urge you to check the EXACT measurements below against a shoe you own that fits you, since each shoe (especially one this old) runs differently. If you are unsure of size, please do not purchase since these are a final sale - no returns***
They measure 10 1/2 inches from toe to heel, measured on the INSIDE of the shoe along the inner sole.
The width across the ball of the foot is 3 1/8 inches, measured on the inside of the shoe across the inner sole.
The shoes have a killer 4 1/4 inch heel.
The perfect Pin-Up / Fetish model heel!
In excellent condition. The heel taps and leather on the shoes are both in excellent condition. Inside and out the shoes are in wonderful condition.
