This is an absolutely gorgeous Vintage dress made of black velvet and lace. So gorgeous!  It has puffed shoulders, a fitted waist, and a black lace neckline and back.  High collar with black buttons all the way up the back (just one loop for the back buttons needs to be repaired)  Also has a black velvet tie around the back of the waist.  The cuffs are trimmed in black lace too.  It is most likely made in the 1980's but modeled after a Victorian style.

This dress has no size tag but it runs like a XS/Small. I am a size 2 and I am modeling it and it fit great.

After modeling it, I realized I might have had it on backwards!  I think the buttoned side is meant to be the front!  I guess you could wear it either way.

Shoulders:  17" across.

Bust:  34" around.

Waist:  26-27" around.

Hips:  Open

Sleeves:  23.5" from shoulder.

Length:  46"

 

The gown is in Excellent condition and was probably only worn once for someone's prom or other formal event.
