Vintage 1940's Black Wool & Fur Tilt Topper Hat





This is a very unusual looking Vintage Ladies topper style hat from the 1940's era. It's difficult to describe and I have never seen another like it. It has a half-circle, crescent-moon shaped stiff band covered in black wool, sort of like a headband. The head and hair is visible when the hat is on the head. There is a 3 1/2 inch tall black wool bow decoration and real ivory fur measuring 16 inches around the side of the headband. This hat is in excellent condition. It appears unworn.
