This is a Vintage heavy pewter tankard/beer stein with a Medieval scene all around the tankard and a Bacchus face on the top of the lid with leaves and grapes.  Bacchus is the God of Wine.  I have never seen another stein like this!  It is quality, heavy pewter and has a large handle and a lid that opens and closes.  There are two markings on the bottom that I cannot make out.  One looks like a horse and the other sort of like a man with a shield or a man with wings.  Measures almost 6" tall.  It is 6" wide with the handle.  4" across the bottom diameter.
