They have a hidden platform lift in front, measuring 1 1/2" high. The hidden platform allows for lots of height in the heel, while still allowing comfort while wearing. The heel is 5 3/4" high. The heel area of the shoe is very "rounded", just like the older classic style, which makes your ankles look teeny-tiny!! This pair is a black "leather look" mixed with a soft black velvet and a vintage looking flap/tongue with a black satin bow threaded through that adjusts. Very unique!!! They have a peep toe. Meeeeoooww!
