This is a gorgeous Vintage 1940's Ladies Tilt style hat in an asymmetrical style and unusual dark burgundy dyed feather plumes and a little pin that has a wool piece attached to it. It is marked 100% wool and "Distributed by Olivier, Straw Goods Corp, Made in USA" and then has a sewn-in label that reads "New York Creation and some sort of stock numbers". It has 5 dark burgundy feather plumes - the two front plus are missing the top part of the feathers but you don't even notice unless you're looking for it - and remember the feathers could easily be replace to any color or style you wanted, if you chose to. All components of the hat appear to be original. It is in excellent condition. Measures approximately 21 1/4" around the inside diameter.
