This is a gorgeous Vintage 1940's black sculpted velvet hat with black lace back veil. This would be perfect for a gothic wedding ensemble! I have never seen another one like this! Lined in pink silk fabric and pink grosgrain ribbon. Two tags inside. One says "Lorie" and the second says "Edgar A Stevens Inc, Evanston Ill (Illinois), registered model B". This has an attached black chin strap that can allow it to be worn under the chin or around the back of the head. Very soft velvet! This is in Excellent condition!!! I love this style! Perfect for Burlesque or Pin-Up fashions.

These style hats are starting to become more rare, especially in this condition. This is a gorgeous collectible - a beautiful example of Ladies fashion from the 40's era.
