Alchemy Gothic Corvus Machina Necklace



This is Alchemy Gothic's Corvus Machina necklace. Part of their Steampunk Collection. This is a necklace locket with internal heart chamber detailing. The perfection of life force and the seat of the deepest desires of modern man; brass-hinged locket with magnetic catch, glass rods and etched brass components. Inside the heart it reads "I felt emotions of gentleness and pleasure, that had long appeared dead, revive within me" ~ Frankenstein's monster. Very large - approx 4 1/2" long pendant, attached to approx. 21" silvertone chain. The metal used in the manufacture of all Alchemy's pewter products is the highest grade, 92% tin alloy, (to BSS5140 standard), known as "English Pewter". Some manufacturers misleadingly use the term 'pewter' to describe alloys containing lead. This results in inferior, more easily made products which are heavier, softer and of a darker colour, and are much more prone to tarnishing and disfigurement. This WILL NOT happen with Alchemy Gothic jewelry.
