This is the Alchemy Gothic "Elementary Crux Angelicus Choker" - part of Alchemy's Fall 2010 line. 'Cross of the Angels and the Elements'; infused with the teachings of the supreme mentor of devout philosophy and alchemical wisdom. John Dee; with Swarovski crystals & transluscent blue enamelled sigils. The 4 elemental sigils: Earth, Air, Fire & Water. On blue cord & satin ribbon necklace. Pendant measures approx. 3 1/2" long. (see my store for the matching earrings, sold separately) The metal used in the manufacture of all Alchemy's pewter products is the highest grade, 92% tin alloy, (to BSS5140 standard), known as "English Pewter". Some manufacturers misleadingly use the term 'pewter' to describe alloys containing lead. This results in inferior, more easily made products which are heavier, softer and of a darker colour, and are much more prone to tarnishing and disfigurement. This WILL NOT happen with Alchemy Gothic jewelry.
