5" Brass Hanging Incensor
This is a brass hanging incense burner, or called 'incensor' in the catholic church services. You can use charcoal and resin, granular or cone incense. Various shapes, each is slightly different, so the one you receive may not match the photo exactly. It is 4-5" high. Has attached chain to hang it from a hook. An old practice in the Roman Catholic church (still used today by some) was to burn incense in these and the priest would wave it back and forth during his sermon down the aisle. Their version was about 10 times the size of this one. :)
