This is a VERY RARE FIND!! This classic reproduction 1890’s taffeta gown features large leg-o-mutton sleeves with lace cap. The cap and the bottom half of the sleeves are trimmed in Black Alencon Lace. The fitted bodice features a flattering v-shaped dropped waistline in the front. It has a lace trimmed stand up collar and a front button closure. The skirt is trimmed with lace at the hemline and a lovely black lace design embellishes the full gathered skirt. The skirt is approximately 41" in length. The gown overall is 55" long. 100% acetate. Dry clean only. Gorgeous shimmery blue color. This is marked size XS, but fits like a Medium or Small. I'm not sure how they got an XS from these measurements. Check your meas. to be sure this is your size. Bust is 38" around, waist is 29" around and sleeves are 24.5" long fron shoulder.
